SOGN BIOs Mr. Carl A. Cole Mr. Carl Andrew Cole, affectionately called "Mr. C" by Children and acquaintances, was born on September 25th, 1961, in Freeport, IL. As the last of seven talented kids, he was introduced to the Performing Arts by his Mother, Erma Cole, who created & organized them into "The Singing Coles". The group was mentioned several times in the Illinois History Books in the mid 60's, mostly because of their regional fame. On stage at age three...exceling in every Academic Class throughout school...especially the Arts...playing for his first wedding at age eleven...Mr. C is still going strong through his Rockford, IL based Company: Sounds Of Good News (SOGN)...working with Dianna, life-time Friend, Frank Robinson, Andrew and plenty of Talented Family and Friends. SOGN is focusing on new CD Projects to bring more Happiness & Healing to America the World. For over three decades, his versatile piano playing and singing skills have caused him to be involved in many public and private Events and Projects. You may frequently see him at Weddings, Receptions, Banquets, Parties, Concerts and Senior Centers. His Inspirational, Educational presentations to Children & Youth are a testiment of his great love for Kids. He even shares his music with the Homeless on occasion. He works with All Cultures and ages, serving with a big smile...one of his trademarks. Consequently, he has acquired numerous Awards...including:the "National American Legion Award" at 12 years old; the "Race Unity Award" by the Institute for the Oneness of Humanity; the Booker Washington Center "Community Legend Award"; the "Rockford Area Music Industry" (RAMI) "Hall Of Fame" Award; and won several State Choral Competitions...to name a few. Since he was a child, Mr. C loved playing at Church...a common root for many Historic Musicians. His Sacred work was improved by uniting in Holy Matrimony with his Lovely, Talented wife, Dianna. They share a single Child together: Andrew...who continued the Music Legacy with his Multi-Talents in Drums, Bass, Keyboards and secret singing.  Due to his personal commitment to the Ministry, Mr. C became an ordained Minister in 1989 ("Elder" in the Church Of God In Christ). He, Dianna & Andrew evolved into a dynamic Family Evangelistic team, serving hometown and abroad. His continued Musical aspirations caused him to become an Educator, Composer, Arranger & Recording Producer...working with numerous soloists, groups and choirs...never leaving out Youth. His knowledge of Music History Roots has increased his value to School Systems and "Oldies" Music Lovers. Currently, he is heard on the radio and seen on Regional TV Shows, spreading Love, Joy, Peace and Hope through his God-given Talents. Most recently, SOGN has established a "Young Eagles Soaring Inspirational Choir" Prevention Project for Kids. Also, through VP Frank Robinson, SOGN is a Member of the Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce. Moreover, by Grace...through Faith...Mr. C is striving to maximize his Company for Worldwide Service...and beyond. Special Accomplishments: Mr. C  performed twice at the Famous "Taste Of Chicago" Festival as well as regularly @ the Rockford "On The Waterfront" Event; he recorded at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA for Dr. Iris Stevenson (Inspiration for the Disney Movie, "Sister Act II"); served as Music Director & Pianist for New American Theatre's 30th Season Closer: "Ain't Misbehavin" (Celebrating Legendary Musician, Thomas "Fats" Waller); serves as a Performing Member of the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center; serves a Pianist for the Rockford Country Club; on page 36 of National Best-Seller, "Soul Survivors", the Life Stories of the Members of Mega-Group Destiny's Child; inspiration for several National Artists; serves as Complementary Medicine Music Specialist @ SwedishAmerican Health System, playing Monthly on various floors and in Main-Entrance Concourse; Performed as Special Guest with Rockford Symphony Orchestra @ 2005 "Holiday Pops" Concert @ Coronado Theatre in Rockford, IL, performing an original Medley arrangement, Co-arranged by Conductor, Dr. Steven Larsen; Co-Host of the "REAL EYES" TV Show; Serves as Adjunct Professor @ Rockford College for MUSC 276 "Gospel Choir" Course...assisted by Dianna. Ms. Dianna Cole DIANNA COLE (Ms C) was born on September 21st, 1959 in Freeport, IL, into a Family of Ministers and Singers. She was predestined by God to be a Vessel of Honor for the building of His Kingdom. At an early age, Dianna displayed Diligence and Faithfulness in everything she did. Her serious sense of humor combined with her compassion for others caused her to be an unforgettable acquaintance. Her love for Music and Ministry was evident in all her endeavors (inspired by her Pastor/Father as well as her Singing Mother & Sister). After High School, she pursued her education at Tulsa, OK Junior College where she studied Psychology...not knowing her destiny to become an excellent Educator and Counselor. By the prompting of the Spirit of God, Dianna returned to Freeport to help her parents with their Ministry (inc. running a Convenient Store and Fund-raising "Dinners")...not realizing that she was qualifying herself for Multiple Career fields. On September 23rd, 1981, she was divinely united in Holy Matrimony with Mr. C. Their life of Music Ministry and Business had begun. Consequently, God blessed them with their only child Andrew (BIO below). Together, they continuously provide excellence wherever they perform. SOGN is very fortunate to have her as the General Manager and Director of Education. She became a Licensed Evangelist in 1989 (Church Of God In Christ). Through the years, Dianna has become as fine Performing and Recording Artist (her new "Songs 4-U" CD releases are forthcoming). She is also the Executive Consultant of her own Company: "Wisdom And You" (WAY), through which she offers "Self-Development" Workshops and Trainings in the areas of "Self-Improvement" ("Beauty and You") and Career Success (inc.
